Thanks to Indiana FSSA (Family and Social Services Administration) Next Step Care LLC will recieve a total of $14,383.53 to pay to Direct Service Workers. This grant is to improve employee retention and recruiting. To ensure quality of long term services, and support the well-being of the workforce.

$1,000 will be paid to all current and new patient care assistants, caregivers, HHA's, and CNA's.

All caregivers are required to complete work visits via website or app. Using a cellphone, tablet/ipad, or laptop. Timesheets are only permitted in the event of a technical misfunction.

The 21st Century Cures Act directs state Medicaid programs to require providers of personal care services and home health services to use an electronic visit verification (EVV) system to document services rendered. Federal law requires that providers use the EVV system to document the following information:
Date of service
Location of service
Individual providing service
Type of service
Individual receiving service
Time the service begins and ends
